Vintage Caucasian Throw Rug

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. Woven in a restrained palette, this short-pile scatter rug features a Lesghi star enclosed within a conforming cross on a subtly abrashed pale powder-blue to soft-aqua field. Rows of three bone-colored stars appear above and below. The light bone main border displays rectangular Union Jack-style stars in beige, taupe, brown, muted rose, and pale blue, while a dark brown outer border is dotted with small pale blue accents.
