Vintage Moroccan Carpet

A vintage Moroccan carpet. The warm straw-beige ground extends to the edges in all directions. It is centered by a small, stepped cartouche medallion floating in the expansive openness and framed by a brown openwork border of small squares diamonds. The pile is fairly low for a Moroccan and the weave is relatively close. A good 40’s look but watch the stains.
