A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Likely from the Luri or Qashghai tribes, this eccentric piece shows a saturated red field with rows of botehs, C-shaped brackets, and small diamonds in shades of canary yellow, rust, and beige. The border is color-continuous with the field and presents a brickwork lower section, with bitonal small hexagons incorporating C motifs above. Plain red knotted end-finish bands complete the piece.
