A vintage Persian Gabbeh rug. In the 1950s in both Persia and Turkey, there was a craze, or at least a trend, for rugs in a small square, totally geometric, often non-repeating, patterns. This borderless ruglet shows confetti scatter in ecru, rust, cerulean, black, teal and straw, with some speckling and with one end in a distinctly different colorway. Just the right size for a cushion in an otherwise monochrome Contempo room setting.
