A vintage Persian Joshegan rug. Although of small size, the characteristic Joshegan pattern of lozengoidal flower arrays around a central four palmette cruciform ivory medallion is perfectly preserved on the red-brown field with ivory, rust and goldenrod accents. This central Persian urban ruglet has a teal-grey border of bitonal pinwheel rosettes.
