A vintage Persian Karajeh runner. The ivory-hooked hexagons alternate with four octogrammes on the brown-red field filled with a surrounding scatter of stylized flowers. Karaja is on the edge of the Heriz weaving district in NW Persia. The most striking border is the ivory inner stripe with an undulating simple bud vine.
