The abrashed light slate field of this west Persian Arak province village kellegi (long rug) shows a three column, medium-scale allover, offset Herati design, set within a salmon-buff main border with the “tangerine flower” pattern, rosettes and bitonal leaves accented in pale blue and near black. Rustic weaving, medium-coarse knotting, cotton foundation.
