A vintage Persian Malayer rug. This basically tonally subdued west Persian semi-geometric rural scatter shows a light brown field with a bold central staff decorated with stylized palmettes, open lozenges and stiff, straight branches. The straw triangular corners are filled with small botehs. dark brown, goldenrod and white cotton are among the detail hues.
