A vintage Persian Malayer runner. The field abrashes at the top end from light graphite to charcoal and displays a relatively free floating long pole medallion composed of small fringed lozenges in a chain with attendant rosettes and angled leaflets. The palmettes of the main straw toned border of this west Persian rural kenare ( runner ) are more bulbous and ragged than usual.
