A vintage Persian Mashad Art Deco carpet. A very striking, totally abstract and sharp composition with a teal field displaying a few perfectly placed, crisscrossing curved and straight lines in black, ecru and blue-green, all within a wide plain light beige outermost band. Definitely has a late 1930’s Minimalist, geometric Art Deco aura. Think Naum Gabo or a Russian Constructivist like Rodchenko.
