Vintage Persian Square Textile

Wool pattern warps and wefts on a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. Eggshell and rust columns are crossed by short light bands and six intervening rows of darker squares. Each column and row employs minor guard lines, with slight offsetting throughout. Twill and herringbone pattern mixing is evident. The edges and ends are wavy. Qashghai work.
