Vintage Persian Tabriz Pictorial Rug

A vintage Persian Tabriz Pictorial rug. Against a plain black ground, a brass samovar, porcelain tea pot, sugar bowl, brass tray, two saucers and a white ceramic bottle are set on a boteh patterned cloth.  This attractive depiction of Persian hospitality is woven with a short warp and is finely knotted, coming from an urban workshop with access to a print or painted original.
