Vintage Persian Veece Accent Rug

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The vast majority of Veece weavings are room-size pieces, making this example particularly rare. It features a rust field with a tightly spaced central axis of three fish-hook-edged diamonds, flanked by pale blue triangular filler motifs. The pale blue border is decorated with herringbone patterns.
