Vintage Turkish Anatolian Room Size Carpet

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The well-abrashed red field shows two columns each of four stacked ragged diamonds with hooked lozenge centers.  A central axis of two angular meanders embracing squared palmettes is repeated in the main border, although the half end borders are color changed. Thick and heavy handle. Simple and geometric.
