Vintage Turkish Anatolian Rug

A vintage Turkish Anatolian rug from the mid-20th century. A plain dotted golden brown sub-field is set on a brown panel with a stiff vine and rosette pattern. The plain square dots on this vintage rug are in an unusual greyish purple shade. The medallion displays an ivory stepped palmette and the sub-medallion placed on a plain stepped magenta panel.  The old ivory border features large rosette flowers, irises, and carnations.
