Vintage Turkish Anatolian Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The pale buff-to-dusty-rose field displays large octagons, diamonds edged with triangular sawteeth, and nested hooked lozenges in ivory, beige, light taupe, soft brown, faded pink, pale blue-grey, and muted sage. The inner border features subdued offset triangles, while both broad plainweave end bands are striped in colors drawn from the pile. A work of Jaf Kurdish tribal origin.
