Vintage Turkish Anatolian Throw Rug (Pair: 2 of 2)

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. A visual pair to rug # 33458. The abrashed dark brown to charcoal field displays three large ecru and ivory petaled rosettes with tan leaves and details in gray, ochre, rust red, and brown. Smaller red rosettes and star motifs accent the field. The warm brown border features reversing fan palmettes and floral devices in black, ivory, gray, ochre, and red. A broad rust-brown wool plain-weave finish completes the lower end and was originally part of the backing that, when filled and closed, formed the cushion.
