Vintage Turkish Anatolian Tribal Room Size Carpet

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The abrashed medium brown field shows a three by five pattern of rows of lozenges in straw, sand, brick and charcoal, with smaller, secondary spacer rosettes. At the field bottom is a row of powder blue fractional lozenges. Very narrow border with an alternation of X’s and diamonds. All lozenges show similar branching and flowering stems. Well space layout.
