This village production from the Kurds in Kurdistan, west Persia, shows a three-column geometric version of the popular Mina Khani rosette lattice allover pattern on the madder red ground. Cream floret accents. Brown, black main border with floating, pinwheel rosettes. Visible wear, but still a sturdy carpet with plenty of life left. Wool foundation and a very compact weave.
