Vintage Turkish Sivas Distressed Rug

A vintage Turkish Sivas Distressed rug. The plain medium brown outer border makes a neat frame for the lacy, leafy Mina Khani pattern on the ecru field of this eastern Turkish city room size carpet. There is a light pattern abrash toward one end of the field. The old ivory border displays rosettes and long-slanted acanthus leaves. The general tonality is light and mellow. The plain outer border adds a definitive frame to the whole.
