A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. This rustic piece displays a border-like field design of sideways palmettes, larger and smaller octagons, and split and angular leaves on a madder-red ground. The motifs are rendered in ivory, pale blue, navy, muted green, mustard yellow, coral, and dark brown. The pale rose-to-muted-salmon, strip-style Zanbaki border features tilted irises and square rosettes.
