The visibly abrashed slate field shows a somewhat simplified version of the classic Harshang (“crab”) allover design with five columns of lazy, oval, rough palmettes, ragged palmettes, pointed ovals with “gooseneck” extensions and small, stepped ogives. Rust red, khaki-tan and a few goldenrod touches. Light blue-grey border with reversing turtle palmettes. Solid and very compact weave, with short, upstanding pile. Light general wear, but good condition.
