An antique Persian Bidjar rug. On a ground wildly abrashing from dove grey to nearly black, rows of disc flowers thrive on dark stem, one or three per plant in an unusual allover pattern. The ecru main border has serrated, but irregular, leaves and finger-fringed colorful diamonds. This hard-wearing Kurdish village scatter will survive nicely in any use context.
