An antique Persian Tabriz rug. A copper red madder ground is centered by a dark blue diamond medallion with palmette focus and escutcheon pendants. The well-developed royal blue field corners each display a palmette en suite with those of the medallion. Laurel leaves and rosettes accent the main border.
