An antique Persian Kurdish rug. The field trellis abrashes from light to sky blue and encloses tall hexagons in cerulean blue, red, black, ivory and orange, all with cruciform centers. The ivory main border has a white cotton strip abrash at one end and a general ornament of detached ashiks. This is a west Persian Kurdish village rug from the early 20th century.
