An antique Indian Lahore carpet. This mellow-toned northern Indian (now Pakistan) town large carpet displays offset rows of large, elaborately detailed trees in the weeping willow style, but with flowers in their down curved branches on a beige-tan ground. The light brown border features cartouches alternating with floriated spirals.
