Antique Persian Mahal Carpet

An antique Persian Mahal carpet. Not quite the Mustafi design. Floral garlands are draped around palmettes while thin ivory lines step around complex bouquets, all on the blue-black ground. A line runs across halfway up indicating a noticeable pattern change. But everything still works together nicely with the narrow red main border showing a thin vine with flattened, geometric undulations around various rosettes.
