Antique Persian Malayer Rug

An antique Persian Malayer rug. This wild little west Persian rustic ruglet displays four giant flowers around two footed escutcheon forms, all in royal blue, ecru, salmon, green and brick red on a royal blue round. The pattern is actually a snippet of a larger, allover design. The pale yellow border shows lazy S’s.
