Antique Tibetan Runner

An antique Tibetan runner. A rare Tibetan format, this shaggy pile runner displays a two column design of nested squares on a khaki field surrounded by a long, gnarly green fringe. The long pile and general shagginess are appropriate for the cold, elevated Tibetan climate. The long pile will withstand shoe traffic, but the fringe is a tripping issue, but removing it would detrimentally alter the character of the rug.
