A vintage Persian Afshar rug. Here we find the triple triangle crested cartouche without a waist enclosing an ivory pole medallion of three hooked lozenges. A brown zig-zag vine sprout lollipop flowers along the sides of the main reserve. The sandy field is framed by a main border of small V-shaped flowers on a herringbone chain on this large SE Persian tribal scatter.
