A vintage Persian Baluch Square rug. Wholly in a Caucasian and Turkish village style, the small red field shows two Memling guls surrounded by a dark blue-green border of stars and more Memling guls. The red outer border features chains of hooked triangles. Could be Kurdish with a deep palette, but instead woven by the Persian Baluchi tribe. No off white or cream here like you may expect, but instead red, teal, and straw.
