A vintage Persian Gabbeh rug. In an uncommon Gabbeh format, this south Persian Qashqai tribal rug has a repeating horizontal zig-zag design in ivory, straw,  red, dark blue, medium blue, salmon, green and black, among other tones, but never the same combination twice. Vibrant and uniquely colorful. Pattern seems to expand in the center and contract towards the ends.
