Vintage Persian Hamadan Rug

A vintage Persian Hamadan rug. Looks Anatolian, but it’s really village Persian with a sharp red field centered by a black tree-of-life with downward pointing branches ending in colorful diamonds. At each side of the field is an end-to-end herringbone feather in blue tones. Large rosettes crowd the palmettes in the dark brown border while tiny birds decorate the field ends.
