A modified Herati design inspires the three synchronized column pattern of fringed, open lozenges/diamonds, and associated rosettes, and the “fish” leaves have atrophied to small, fringed elements. Such is the plasticity of the basic Herati design. Characteristic border of pyramidal reversing and fringed palmettes. Medium-coarse rustic weave on cotton.
