Vintage Persian Textile

Wool pattern warps and wefts on a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. The vertical dark blue bands are especially pronounced, particularly where doubled at the center. Secondary lighter blue and red columns show twill and herringbone color mixing. Red crossbars appear with symmetrical offsetting. One edge is slightly irregular. Qashghai work, suitable as a bedcover, wall hanging, or for pillows.
