Vintage Turkish Anatolian Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. In a Persianate style, this mini-kenareh (runner) presents a corduroy surface texture in dark blue with a repeating design organized around a central pole of ragged rosettes, stars, and octogrammes, accompanied by smaller lateral eight-point stars. A straw strip-style main border features open, elongated cartouches enclosing small rosettes.
