Vintage Turkish Oushak Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. This almost monochrome kenareh (runner) shows tones of straw, wheat, and beige, with a central pole of large and smaller, divided lozenges. The field is broadly stepped at each end. Rust triangles edge the sides, and wide, plain flatwoven ends close the pattern.
