A vintage Turkish Sivas carpet. Not quite a Herati design, but the field abrashing from ivory to taupe has an allover pattern of curvy split leaves forming open cartouches, and smaller rosettes and straight vines.  The abrash moves the pattern in and out of view, keeping the eye entertained.
