Antique Persian Bidjar Runner

An antique Persian Bidjar runner. Conveniently narrow and monumentally long, this very solidly woven Kurdistan city runner displays a classic Bidjar pattern combination of an old ivory field with a repeating Herati pattern with a madder red turtle palmette main border. The outer ivory minor shows a clover leaf polychrome pattern. An authentic Kurdish creation. Bidjars wear almost forever and this example is in very good condition. All you need is a long hallway.
