Antique Persian Hamadan Pictorial Rug

An antique Persian Hamadan Pictorial rug. From the Greater Hamadan Weaving Area, this light camel-tone west Persian village runner presents a central floating hexagon with a bust-length male military figure against a dark blue leaf-strewn ground. There are old ivory side and corner triangles with bird and boteh decors. Although trimmed on the sides, the intact dark brown main border shows royal lions, rosettes and serrated diagonal leaves. The outer border remains as stripes at each end. Is the figure generic or specific?
