Antique Persian Joshegan Carpet

A characteristic slate main border of squared palmettes and floret sprays frames the rust field with a hexagon and diamond pattern of weeping willows and flower arrays, together with angularly bent toothed leaves, and a small, stepped goldenrod diamond medallion. Urban medium plus were on cotton, light even general wear. Good condition. Rare to have no field corner development.
