Antique Persian Malayer Square Rug

An antique Persian Malayer Square rug. Pendant to rug # 23959, but here the central ivory rosette has become an orange palmette. Another distinguishing feature is the selective, effective use of light blue in the central ‘fish’ leaves and in several border botehs. Botehs also appear in the triangles at the top and bottom of the field.
