Contemporary Persian Flatweave Kilim Accent Rug

This very unusual quadripartite weft-faced wool flatweave shows a charcoal ground accented by left and right alternating partial narrow wedge streaks in ecru, with short yellow accents. The streaks diminish as they move across the panels, ending in sharp points. There are not many truly black carpets out there and this is a striking and unique example. NW Persian. Good condition.
