A vintage Indian Lahore Pictorial rug. Adapted from a miniature from the Babur Nameh, a prince (Babur) and  two courtiers observe workers toiling  in a garden setting with  buildings and a blue sky above and behind. A dark blue border of millefleurs and serrated palmettes frames the classic image on this finely woven indian city workshop scatter.
