A vintage Persian Malayer runner. What a difference one color makes! Here we have the same basic design as in other examples, but here the details are done in a rust-brown rather than a goldenrod. The rug has a more restrained look, but the ornament is as crisply drawn. The powder grey field and the ivory borders are unchanged in hue, but they just look different.
