A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The abrashed dark brown to near-black field displays two stylized ecru lions, each with five claws on its paws and a squared, elongated snout. Details in red, coral, charcoal, brown, and gray-blue enliven the figures. The taupe-brown main border features quartered and flattened octagons in red, coral, orange, ivory, charcoal, and gray-blue. Originally woven as a cushion cover, or yastik.
