An antique Indian Lahore carpet. The abrash is confined to the border system. The charcoal field displays an allover pattern of large sunflower rosettes, nested serrated cypresses, forked leaves, small palmettes, and complete flowers. The main border of this northern Indian workshop urban carpet displays leafy, broken cartouches. The field pattern is vertically offset.
