Antique Persian Bidjar Rug

An antique Persian Bidjar rug. In the Baluchi style, the three column design features quartered octagons alternating with lozenges, with fan-leaf minor devices in the reserved spaces, all on a sienna brown ground, and all set within an old ivory main border with a double vine and escutcheon palmettes. This Kurdish long rug is solidly woven and very versatile in its size either as an accent rug or the center of a room.
