Modern Central Asian Bokhara Long Runner

A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The saturated fire-engine red field displays two columns of elliptical, connected Tekke major guls, with chemche minor guls in the reserves. The main border features boxes enclosing stellate guls in the Tekke manner. There are also double elems (extra end panels) with two rows of fringed lozenges, along with a narrower strip showing a seme of stylized tiny flowers arranged in color diagonals. A plain red outermost stripe frames the piece.
