Vintage Persian Square Textile

Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. Four light columns run up the centers of the four panels, giving unity to the whole and binding together red and near-black squares, along with associated color-mixed squares in herringbone twill. Qashghai tribal work, suitable as a cover or wrapper.
